Five things to consider when choosing the perfect mini ramp for your space...

We speak with customers everyday and one question that we get asked quite often is which mini ramp should I buy?  Unfortunately, there's no straight forward answer because everyone's situation is slightly different. However, here are five important things to consider before choosing your mini ramp.

  1. Who will be using the mini ramp? What's their skill level?

If you have young kids or you're just getting started out then our 2 ft high mini ramps can be a great option, but if you've been skating for a while then our 3 ft high mini ramps or 4 ft High mini ramps or even something bigger like our Custom Built Ramps might bethe better choice for you.

  1. Where will your ramp be going and how much space do you have to work with?

If it's going indoors or under cover are there any height restrictions that will need to be considered.

  1. Site Preparations

If installing your ramp outdoors, is the ground surface relatively firm and level and will any footings be required.

  1. Budget

Obviously budget will always come into play.  WA Skate Ramps have a range of different sized ramps available to suit almost any budget. Another great thing about our ramps is that it’s super easy to add onto your existing ramp down the track when your budget allows.

  1. Quality Matters!

It's important to make sure that you're getting the best quality ramp for your money. You might see cheaper ramps available that appear to be similar our mini ramps... Just a word of warning that most cheaper skate ramps are made with cheap materials such as low quality plywood and untreated timbers which ultimately won’t last.   When you choose your mini ramp from WA Skate Ramps, you know you'll be getting the best quality professionally built mini ramp available from an established Australian business and a trusted brand.

So that’s five things that you should consider before choosing your mini ramp.  If you have any questions please leave a comment below or contact us with your requirements and we’ll be happy to help.
